SCKC_Intro

We all love seeing our little stylistas flaunting fab skinnies or adorable babies rocking vintage washed and distressed hipster jeans. But sometimes, despite of all the processing, softening and washing, denim still feels too harsh on their sensitive, delicate skin.

SCKC design team took the harsh part out of this cool style equation with their new line fabulous Mini Faux Denim Collection.

Rose and Lauren Fishman, the genius mother-daughter team, behind Canadian line SCKC are obsessed with finding the softest, most comfortable fabrics and creating the most mix-able and easiest match-able kids clothes with the highest style quotient.

Their ultimate softness and comfort quest yielded the coolest denim designs printed onto the softest, comfiest French terry, and using buttery soft French terry that already looked like denim to create rad looking “jeans”. All French Terry “Jeans” come with  a choice of Kula Klip belt.

No more struggle in the morning when he refuses to wear anything but his “soft pants”. Smile and hand over his “soft jeans”, that feel like his worn in and beaten up sweatpants, but look sleek and stylish enough to make your refined taste sing with happiness. The Mini Faux Denim collection styles are available in baby (0-24m) and toddler (2T-4T) sizes. The clothes are cut rather generously. Size 4T would definitely fit a regularly built 5 yrs old.

Create a fabulous outfit, pairing these soft faux denim pieces with other SCKC styles exemplifying the line’s distinctive “a bit vintage, a bit retro” vibe. Soft cardigans in bold colors with wide trims, colorful buttons and faux denim inserts, polo style onesies in eye catching prints and solid neutrals accentuated by contrast piping and wide cuffs. Tees made of the ridiculously soft, gauzy cotton, with unfinished hems. Cool sweat pants with interesting details, made of the same fabric on reverse, like knee patches, back pockets and waistbands with functional drawstrings.
